Letting go
Of a crystal
You see a sparkle
Appear; a smile
From thoughts
That are deep within

It bubbles like a fountain
Piercing the rainbows waterdrop
Deep down you look
It spreads across you
Filling you with wonder

How Why When?
And then you smile
Now I know
This is here forever
It will not go

A feeling of completeness
A feeling of danger gone
You continue to walk
A smile comes your way again

Then the smile turns to a grin
As the love begins to build
It starts off fresh and new
And then develops into an aching

Your soul calling; a nearness
Seeing them in your minds eye
Understanding they are there
Regardless

When you are sick; they are there
Fighting for you when you cannot
When you are tired, they take over,
Allowing you to sleep

When you are angry, they fight back
But they will understand and forgive
Because we are all here
Being with you is lightness; it brings
Happiness that I did not know before

Love is bountiful, it brings much joy
A sweet surrender of your heart to another's
An understanding of two
Allowing you to be you.
